I'm Johnna, your photographer! 

Untamed Rose Photography has been in business since March 2013. My studio is located in Yukon, Oklahoma. I photograph not only in studio, but often on the farm I live on, as well as Yukon/OKC area.

The name Untamed Rose has a very special meaning to me for many reasons. 1st, Rose is mine, my daughter, & my mother's middle name. My mom passed from cancer when I was 11, but one of our favorite song's together was a song by Pam Tillis called "Mi Vida Loca", & there's a verse that says "I'll go where the wind blows, you can't tame a wild rose". This always stuck out to me & it just seemed fitting to name my photography business "Untamed Rose Photography'. My mom also LOVED being behind the camera.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart & we have 3 amazing kids- Blake, Emma, & Elijah. I know everyone says their kids are amazing, but I seriously hit the jackpot with being able to be their mother! Along with photography, I also enjoy gardening, kayaking, & playing with my ducks and dogs! My family & I love the Lord & love serving his people! 

Photography is so incredibly special to me! It's more than just looking at the camera & saying "cheese". I want you to be able to not only make sweet memories during your session, but be able to have images that last a lifetime that show genuine emotion and interactions with each other.
